In 2010 I was commissioned by Independent Ideas to design the Christmas windows for the La Rinascente department store in Milan, Italy. I chose characters from some of my best paintings and put them in holiday scenes. The figures were sculpted from high-density foam, coated with resin and then painted. Each one stood about nine feet tall.
